"At the age of 47 and empty nester, changing a career isn't easy and finding my passion presents many challenges. However, with the assistance of the MIS program, I have grown to see how this program allows students to become more clear on their life goals and career paths as they take a variety of different classes. I would propose that I present the concept of how enrolling and participating in the MIS program has allowed me and can help other students to navigate through a career change. The program that SUU has offered has allowed the flexibility to change different areas of focus as I have discovered what is it that I am good at and become more focused in my career path. This has allowed me to become more empowered in my personal life and education as I seek to find out what my passion in life is and share it with others. SUU's program has been generous, flexible and rigorous all at the same time. With this balance, it is helping me chart through a complex stage of my life. "
