"We will highlight the strengths, perspectives, and needs of each generation during this presentation. Faculty and Faculty Advisers will benefit from practical ways to connect with students in various generational groups. Advising and teaching resources geared towards each generation will be explored and discussed in small groups. As part of the panel discussion, students will share their story about their experience attending college, and developing an interdisciplinary major, at various ages. Their goals, unique needs, and obstacles will be discussed to raise awareness about individual groups. Two or three clearly defined outcomes for participants. Participants will learn statistics and characteristics about each generation group while evaluating research-based evidence and personal experience of our student panelists. Participation in active and engaging dialogue regarding each generation group. Participants will learn how to cater to each generation and provide optional support for the learning experience. "
