In this roundtable, we will examine best practices and various approaches to incorporating DEI into our teaching and pedagogy, with special attention to interdisciplinary perspectives and strategies to finding common ground and a shared language among diverse constituents. From offering extra credit to students to decolonizing the curriculum and everything in between, we will reflect on our experiences (including challenges) as faculty and staff members involved in DEI initiatives at Merrimack College. We will also share resources, designed to support students, faculty, and staff involved in such initiatives.
