Description

Being human is one of the broadest topics anyone can investigate. What is striking is that hardly anyone tries to comprehensively interconnect the diverse findings on being human from all the relevant disciplines. What this paper attempts to do is ascertain the various large subject matter that are needed to be thorough, and to list the various topics within those subject areas. I then try to present an outline of how to interconnect the findings of different disciplines within a narrative framework. The important subject to be covered include attachment and love, humanity as a killing species, creativity, cognition, and character, then how it is that humans have gone from stone tools to smart phones, illiteracy to Shakespeare, from hunting and gathering to flying to the moon. All this can only be brought to realization through an interdisciplinary sensibility.
