"This workshop has a twofold aims. Firstly, it aims to briefly present a multi-facetted analytical Course Innovation Framework (CIF). The CIF can assist educators and policy makers (in higher education) in deciding upon multiple stages and processes of their desired course innovations (Tassone et al., submitted). The analytical framework was constructed in a transdisciplinary fashion by integrating insights from literature in the fields of curricula and innovation studies, from policy documentation, and from course innovation practices at Wageningen University & Research, the Netherlands. Secondly, the workshop aims to engage the participants in experimenting with the application of the CIF while considering their own courses as a case (either courses they teach, they advise or have participated to). By applying the CIF, participants gain awareness about multiple characteristics of their courses and can learn to map, and decide upon innovation of those courses. Participants are guided in the application of the CIF and are invited to post their insights via Padlet. The workshop will end with a joint reflection to harvest insights from the participants about the applications of the CIF on their own courses, and possibilities they consider to care for their course innovations. ________________________ Tassone, V.C.; Biemans, H.
