I have described my MIS degree to be similar to a Swiss Army knife throughout my studies at SUU. By incorporating this concept into my own Interdisciplinary Studies program, I have used my “Swiss Army” knife in ways that I never thought were possible. One of the largest Swiss Army knives, the SwissChamp has 33 different attachments, all of which play a vital role in the overall function of the knife. Like the MIS program at Southern Utah University, which offers an individualized program with 22 different learning blocks that all function in a way that prepares students for success in our ever-changing world.
